Most weeks the biggest words are categories. This week the biggest word was a single project. “odysseus” (1,862) topped the cloud outright, ahead of “skill” (1,567), “agent” (1,374) and “claude” (1,093). It is a self-hosted AI workspace so dominant that its own name outweighed the entire vocabulary of agent tooling around it.
A cloud built from names rewards a project the more its stars pile onto one distinctive token, so a single runaway repo can outrank the shared words a thousand projects contribute to. odysseus at the top is that effect, not a topic the week was about. It is worth naming because it is the cleanest case of it this month.
Set the project names aside (odysseus, “hermes” (830), “headroom” (541), “markitdown” (511)) and the shared vocabulary underneath is the now-familiar one: “skill” (1,567), “agent” (1,374), “claude” (1,093), “harness” (566), “llm” (491). The “open-” prefix (1,011) is already here too, a week before its clones crowded the following week’s cloud.
So the honest read is two-layered: one project owning the headline word, and beneath it the same agents-and-skills lexicon that has run all month. Discount the outlier and the week names itself like the ones around it.
